Voici la première vidéo réalisée sur Toofly, par Jay Maldonado.Ce mini-documentaire a été tourné à 5 Pointz sous un soleil de plomb, on y voit Toofly en pleine réalisation de l'un de ses personnages cultes.

Toofly a choisi le lieu 5 Pointz, parce que c'est l'un des seuls endroits où elle a pu apprendre à peindre à l'aérosol dans les années 90, c'est l'un des lieux culturels les plus importants pour le graffiti à New York et la ville de Nyc a décidé de raser ce lieu d'ici 2013, pour y construire des résidences immobilières haut de gamme.

For years the Lady Caprice Magazine has created links with some of New York's best artists and TOOFLY is one of our favorites so it's important that we share her news with you: Check out the first video made on TOOFLY by Jay Maldonado.

The mini-documentary, shot at 5 Pointz under a blazing sun, showcases TOOFLY illustrating one of her iconic characters, mural style. TOOFLY chose 5 Pointz because of its nostalgic reference. Back in the 90's it was one of the few places where she could learn to airbrushing.

As it stands today, 5Pointz is one of the most important cultural sites for graffiti in NYC, but the city decided to destroy this place by 2013 in an effort to build high-rise condos.
